Used and B-stock for around 12-1500..
Anyone ever owned one/played one? Always dug the Peavey WG(USA models).

Just batting around some options.

I played a used one at GC. It was nice, and I would have bought it, but they wanted too much. It had a lot of dings and scratches.

Played beautifully though. Very nice. But, for that kind of money, I'd find a Japanese Wolfgang Special. They hold their value better.

I have a HP2 and a Peavey WG. They are near identical except for the pickups. The HP2 were designed to be friendly for coil splitting. They're decent pu but I prefer the WG. If you like WGs the HP2 is an excellent axe.

Have 2 HPs...although I think I am selling one this week. Great axes...great neck. Haven't tried the HP2s. American Made axes that play great.

I had a JapPeavey WG couple years ago...great guitar...my only dislike, and once it popped out to me I couldn't unsee/unfeel it, if that makes sense. The neck was so narrow the E and e strings would roll off constantly...now some of that was certainly my playing style but yea, that's probably the only guitar I've sold that I honestly miss. Just wish the neck was a tad wider.

The HPs are nice looking also..

Saw a review on the HP2...guy said it had a "orange peel" thing going on with the finish. Is that accurate?

Would you fellas mind posting a photo of your HP/HP2? If not, ''tis cool
