Peavey Invective 120 - $1400​

This amp is a beast. It's essentially a 5150 with some tweaks, built in noise gate and boost. The schematics in the preamp section match up pretty closely. I have the footswitch for it as well. This amp will knock your socks off in the best way. I really enjoyed my time with it because I did not need to plug in any pedals, just straight into the amp and go. I have a brand new set of JJ 6L6GC's in it that I got September 27th, there's maybe 2 hours of playtime on it.

The faceplate is painted blue. It's plasti dipped white then a blue sparkle coat, then a matte clear. It can be removed. When I got it the faceplate had scratches all over it. Also the white Peavey Logo is new, the old one was beat to heck.


I'm in Basking Ridge NJ. Willing to meet up within a reasonable distance.

Trades?​

I'd only be interested in trading for 4x12 cabinets; ENGL Straight, Mesa straight or slant, Suhr, Soldano, Diezel, Victory, other similar cabinets I may not think of. Not really interested in Marshall 1960a/b cabs.

Anyone ever mod these? I love the look of this amp so much.

I have one of these and it’s a very cool amp. The use of master vs channel volume can really change the characteristics of the amp. The switching is very logical and is useful.
