I don't know if this amp is overlooked or underrated but I freaking love it!
This is the Ultra channel with the gain at 5. Rest of the settings Body 3 / Bottom 4.5 / Edge 8.5 Signal - Gibson LPC 1996 EMG 81 - Demon TS Boost (no drive / level + tone at 13:00 ) - Amp I am recording using a Mackie 89D dynamic center of the Mojotone BV30V

i remember being a noob teenager back in the 90s sometime going to the big guitar store around here with my buddy, he was playing one of these and it was the first time i remember turning down the mid knob, it was an incredible moment :ROFLMAO: id like to have one of these just for that nostalgic moment
"Mids are for pu@$@s" as Kirk one said, right? haha

I had an Ultra Plus for a while. It was a pretty good amp.
Exactly.I mean don't expect super clean note separation and rich harmonics but in my book it's a great and cheap hard rock / metal amp

My first real tube amp.. I remember being a moron and loving the mids on 1. Current me cringes at what past me's guitar tone was like. Always will have a soft spot for it, even if it blew up and ate a set of tubes 6 months after I got it.

These amps were underrated for a while.
They serve a good purpose in the right hands.

I think you did pretty good but the boost is adding some fizzy ballsack hairs to the tone. Otherwise, not bad. Good job. 🤏🏻
