So I'm installing a Peavey Wolfgang neck pickup in my Charvel and I'm wondering which wire is the hot and which two get soldered together and unused. I have bare, green, black, red and white wires on this pickup. I know bare and green are ground. Any body out there with a Peavey Wolfgang willing to take a look under the hood and tell me how it's wire from the factory?

Pretty sure these were made my Dimarzio, so I would follow their wiring scheme. Green and bare wired together and grounded, black and white together and taped off, and red is hot.

I was wrong.

Black = hot (to switch)
Red/White = combined and taped off
Green/Bare = combined and to back of pot/ground wire

Check these out.

The diagram is wrong for the Peavey Wolfgang, and the control cavity doesn't show the pickup wiring.

johnode, you were correct the first time. I spoke to Steve, the guitar tech at Peavey.
He told me the following:
red=hot
black=ground
bare=ground
green and white go together
