Anyone hear about this?

They just posted a vid on facebook but didn't provide any detail

The flyers are already going around and Peavey dealers on Facebook are taking preorders! Im getting mine in next week for the ocean blue one. Ranging between $1500-$2k depending on the finish

My dealer just told me $1800 for ocean blue. He is doing 10% off for preorders

Holy shit. Saw this today, whilst st work. I'm selling all my shit and getting two! Period. Fuck it.

That blueburst flame is ridiculous. I must have it. But I hate the toggle switch being there and would want to relocate it to the tone knob I never use, except that's a coil tap. Ah fuck it, I don't need it.

Oh wow
I had 4 HPs at one time a few years ago
So cool it's coming back!

I might be in as well. Deep ocean. Link to video? I have two HP's. I have thought about selling, but each time I play them they are just it. Stay in tune all the time, and I replaced pickups in both for a bit more metal vibe. Helped in my situation, but the original pickups are no joke.

Cool! I wonder if the trem is floating or non-recessed?

Just move the coil tap to the volume control :)

Oh hell yeah, I'll be down for one, the HP series were really nice, loved every little detail about them much more so than the Wolfgang. Am I crazy though or do the horns look more like the Wolfgang on these 2.0 models than the original HP's? Interesting, not sure I like this shape quite as much. I loved the balanced feel of the originals, they just felt comfy to a smaller guy like myself. I hope this time around they offer more fretboard choices...rosewood was extremely rare last time, at least on the tremelo HH models, which is definitely what I'd want. Also preferred the original toggle position but that's not a deal breaker.

It is a Wolfgang just without saying Wolfgang on the headstock... it would seem the patent ran out(atleast what others are saying right now) and Peavey has decided to revive it with some better features. Ill tell you what, for $2k retail for a US made guitar, if they're being built as well as the original Wolfgang was they're going to have a hit with these. Tons of people already confirming preorders on Facebook and all we have is these flyers and a short video lol. I'm ordering an ocean blue, looks sick

^^^ I suppose it is slightly more in line with the Wolfgang than the HP series, I just saw the "HP 2 Guitar" on the flyer and assumed it was more that than Wolfie. Actually, after watching the FB vid now, it seems to be a nice blend of the two. I'd have to sample one before pulling the trigger blindly...but I'm betting they're going to be good - they have the right DNA anyway.

I have to wonder if anyone at Fender/EVH got wind of this before NAMM and why they didn't rush something else out to compete with the hype they had know Peavey was gonna get. Left handed WG Standards in black and white? Oh, alert the media!

Next I'll be very curious to see which big name guitarists start playing the new Peaveys live or what kind of endorsers Peavey snags with these.
