It is a Wolfgang just without saying Wolfgang on the headstock... it would seem the patent ran out(atleast what others are saying right now) and Peavey has decided to revive it with some better features. Ill tell you what, for $2k retail for a US made guitar, if they're being built as well as the original Wolfgang was they're going to have a hit with these. Tons of people already confirming preorders on Facebook and all we have is these flyers and a short video lol. I'm ordering an ocean blue, looks sickCrunchity":1ikfossc said:Oh hell yeah, I'll be down for one, the HP series were really nice, loved every little detail about them much more so than the Wolfgang. Am I crazy though or do the horns look more like the Wolfgang on these 2.0 models than the original HP's? Interesting, not sure I like this shape quite as much. I loved the balanced feel of the originals, they just felt comfy to a smaller guy like myself. I hope this time around they offer more fretboard choices...rosewood was extremely rare last time, at least on the tremelo HH models, which is definitely what I'd want. Also preferred the original toggle position but that's not a deal breaker.
