I am considering streamlining my rig to one of the above mentioned amp models. I like what I have, which is currently a Line 6 Flextone III 2x12 Fender Blues Deluxe.

Anyone here have any time spent with either of these 200 watt powerhouses?
I run through a modest pedal board...again I have a less is more attitude.

Also considering a Marshall Origin 2x12 Cab or the EVH 2x12 for the completion of my set up.

Rock-Blues-Jazz-Metal is my thing.

I would think a 200W poweramp would pretty much destroy the 60W EVH 2x12 if you go that route.

And the Origin 2x12 is made out of MDF and has not-so-good speakers. I would pass on it.

I wouldn't be so sure it's all that dangerous.

The Powerstage 200's manual says this:

Maximum Output Power:
4Ω load – 210W @ 1% THD+N, 1kHz
8Ω load – 117W @ 1% THD+N, 1kHz

It doesn't mention the 16 ohm rating, but at 8 ohms the unit only puts out 55% of the watts as it does with a 4 ohm load. If that ratio holds true then at 16 ohms (which is how the EVH 2x12 is wired) the Powerstage 200 could max out at as few as 64 watts.
