Any recommendations on where to send pedals to get repaired.
Maxon OD 9 and a Marshall Govnur.

The price you would pay for the repair would probably be better off buying a new pedal. I get wanting to fix the Guvnor since its a bit hard to come by at a decent price. Although I guess if you would take them both to a tech it might be worth it. What is it doing or not doing?

Most likely bad or dirty pots. Sound cuts out intermittently on both.

I gave away a pile of pedals that were not working and I soon regretted it, I am going to do it again because I have no idea what to do with the pile. I am going to be watching the thread hoping someone will have an awesome answer. (An awesome answer would be, “give me a pile of gear,
I’ll fix it and keep the other half, how does that sound?”)

Clean the pots and jacks with Deoxit D5. That can has paid for itself a dozen times over. I would be very surprised if it did not fix one or both.

When you turn the dials do you get scratchiness?
If you tap on the metal jacks, switches etc do you get a pop or rustling?
Have you tried a separate power source?
But yeah. Dioxit is your friend.

This guy is good.

Yep. I have had him fix a couple of my pedals. Great guy, if he can't fix it..it can't be fixed.

I just got in a dead mint EH Electric Minstress that is not working, but does pass signal. Hope its not one of the not available parts that is the issue.

My local shop does pedal repairs if they are worth it, anything involved goes to me, but I mostly work on amps.

Yes sir. I have seen him resurrect a bunch of stuff including vintage tape echos and similar.

Deoxit is amazing stuff. I remember the first time I used it years ago on a Mosvalve MV-962 I had. Was super scratchy, etc. I sprayed that stuff in there and completely fixed my issue.

Remember. You don't spray 'in'. You spray 'on'. On a tube pin or on a cable tip. Then work it in and out like a penis.
