I already have my pedalboard complete, now I need to know the best way to order the pedals to get the least amount of tone loss and to get the best out of each pedal.

I have:

distortion:

Xotic BB preamp
Keeley Fuzz
Keeley Katana boost

Modulation:
Aqua Puss
Danelectro Tuna (tremolo)

Others:
Korg Tuner
Wah

All will be powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus

The amps will be either a Egnater Renegade or a Vh4 or a Fender Princeton RI

I want the pedalboard to run in the front of the amp so I can use any amp and stay as true as possible. I don't wanna be loop dependable.

Thanks for the help guys.

Tuner-Wah- then everything else in that order.

If the fuzz acts up, move it to the front of the chain.

Good setup!

So if I got it right it'd be

Guitar > Tuner > Wah > Tremolo > Delay > Boost > Fuzz > OD > front of amp

?

I'd see the Fuzz before or after the wah, depending on what wah it is. I would probably add a buffer or line driver after the fuzz. Generally I like the Delay more after the OD.

But there are not too many options, give different orders a try.

Guitar > Tuner > Wah > OD > Boost > Delay > front of amp is what I would do...

Joey, You should talk to the folks at Xactone( They Make the XTS Pedals, really good stuff) They make something called a Flexi face. Its an interface at the end of your chain that allows you to run all the Fx into the front of your amp if it has no loop OR If you do have an amp with a loop, it allows you to run whatever youwant through the loop and whatever you want through the front simultaneously..

As for FX Order, I would do this;

Guitar > Tuner > Wah > Tremolo > Boost > OD >Fuzz > Delay >front of amp

If youre using an FX loop

Guitar > Tuner > Wah > Tremolo > Boost > OD >Fuzz > front of amp

Delay > FX Loop

The boost could go after or before OD and Fuzz depending on what you want to use it for;

Use it before OD and Fuzz, It adds gain
Use it After OD and Fuzz and it adds volume

Are you going to use the amp's OD? If so any modulation/time-based effects should go in the loop.

Guitar>Tuner>Wah>Boost>OD>Fuzz>Front of amp, delay in loop.
