People still wearing masks

Just returning home to rural Texas from a ski trip in Utah.

I don’t do a tremendous amount of traveling, so maybe this is normal…

…lots of people still in masks.

I make certain assumptions almost immediately when I see one.

These people must be liberals and have a mental disorder.

Older folks I give a pass as maybe they have health issues. But young people and middle aged adults…must be commies with serious mental health problems right?

Saw one lady in a mask boarding our plane in Salt Lake City with two small children also in masks. I felt pity for those children…they stand very little chance of a normal life under the deranged, clearly liberal nut job of a mother.

Has the idea of masks not been clearly debunked as useless? Yet people are still donning these pointless face diapers. Truly fascinating.

Sadly there are more 'insane' people than you realise.

To me the only positive outcome the covid catastrophe exercise did was help us all identify the liars, the sheep, week minded and insane clowns.

Sorry, there doesn't appear to be a going back to what we thought were nice and normal people around us.

I'm convinced some people prefer to be afraid out of some misguided attempt to exert control over their lives. They compulsively need to feel like they're "making a difference" in the world.

Of course, the only difference wearing a mask really makes in 2026 is telling everyone you're a coward or a dumbass. Or of course that you actively have COVID, but if that's the case stay the fuck home!
