What is the General Consensus Here? I accidentally ordered one... oops.

I've had one for a year or so. It's great. It's an exceptional copy of the TC Integrated Preamp with a Fortin 33 switch that bypasses the bass and treble knobs for set parameters. The dirty tree is super quiet as well.

I think I’m the only person that truly does not like how that pedal sounds with 95% of amps.

I dig mine. The eq really works well. It's similar to the 805 in that regard but more aggressive. I find these two cover most of my needs. Nice build and the owner seems cool as well.

I know a lot of people who really dig it. He is working on an Obituary type pedal I'm looking forward to. I'm guessing it's a rat clone with some mods

Very nice build quality. Sounded amazing with my recto when I had. That pedal was made for that amp. Nastiest combination I’ve ever heard. That said, I don’t really gel with it on other amps.

I thought you were talking about the band Pepper - which I dig.

But I learned something. Carry on.

I sold mine. Didn't like it. I felt like it only did one sound. Every amp I plugged it into, it gave the same filtered sound. It's all good just wasn't for me.

Much the way I felt about the Pro Tone Dino OD. Was like boosting with an AM radio. High end grating artificialness, like the 33. I don't get the hype on that one either, I think it sounds like shit.

I'm using a good old EQ pedal in front of a boost these days.

Thanks for asking, you beat me to it! Had literally never heard of this pedal until like two weeks ago, and apparently it's now a hot topic. Saw this on Ben Eller's channel earlier and was wondering what peeps here thought, since i had never seen a thread about it (strange considering the Fortin 33 had a ton of posts)

The fortin is absolutely terrible compared to the dirty tree. I need to put up the comparison clips I have of 6 different TC clones. I’ve shown it to Atleast 20 people I think. In a blind test, the dirty tree has won every single time.

Just ordered one. Why not? They cost a nickel vs inflation lol
