The song changes about 2:30 in and goes pretty "epic" (What an abused word. ) Enjoy.

The guitarist "Bulb" from Periphery posts on here every once in a while. Great band!

I was surprised to see their CD at my local FYE. I picked it up on sale for $9.99. No brainer!

Ive only heard the Icarus song on the radio. I would like to hear more!

I'm not 100% on the singer, but I could get used to him if the rest of the band delivers.

You heard Icarus on the radio? Where the fuck do you live? We never get any cool music on our local stations.

Not sure which guy he is from name, but they're all great players, I love their clean and djenty parts, excellent lead playing as well, not often found in this genre, atleats to my knowledge, this isn't me sucking up incase he finds me thread by the way.  #

I saw their interview/gear walkthrough vid on YouTube and thought "Looks like a rig I'd see on Rig-Talk I bet they post here"

I used to read the threads by one of the Whitechapel guitarrists on 7string, not a huge fan of that band but he was pretty cool by the looks of things, down to earth and his gear ruled. :P

I hate the term "djent." It just sounds so stupid.  They're a pretty cool band though. Not my favorite style, but they definitely have a ton of talent. bulb posts clips and such here all the time.

They actually sold all of their rigs and soley use Axe-Fx Ultra's, VHT power amps, and Mackie full range full sound speakers. Misha Mansoor is Bulb (the brown dude). He had a band named "Bulb" in about 2005 that broke up. Apparently, he was putting up songs on their soundclick even after they broke up, so everyone started calling him Bulb. He pretty much writes all of the songs and puts them on his soundclick page. Periphery then cherry picks what they want to use for their albums. Here is the soundclick page, you can download all of the songs for free. https://www.soundclick.com/bulb

As far as I know, he's ditching the VHT and just running Ultra -> HD1531.

Misha is a cool guy and a terrific guitar player. I'm not a huge fan of the guitar tone but it works great for this style of music. The CD has been in my car for 2 months now. I think this is their best tune (love the ambient part at 3:53):

These guys are awesome! Got to hang out with Misha for a little while in the GC I work for and try out his Axe. Didn't love the Axe, but what he can do with it sure is incredible!
