Pete Thorn's "Guitar Nerd"... now available!

Pete, this is THE MOST inspiring instrumental album I've ever listened to. I'm being 110% serious and not just blowing smoke. I don't like instrumental albums, they tend to bore me to tears and become forgotten to me just as fast as the guitarist played them. Guitar Nerd is chock full of cool hooks and riffs that actually stick in my head and lead lines i'd love to learn that don't just go in one ear and out the other forgotten in a flurry of notes. AMAZING man, just amazing stuff!
 
Looks like a young Stephen King on the cover...lol. I am buying it just for that...being a huge King fan! Pete's playing will just be a HUGE bonus.

Dave G62, thanks so much man and XSSIVE dude that means alot, I really appreciate your enthusiasm for it, it took a long time to get it all done and out and I'm just stoked people finally are getting to hear it and that they dig it!!!

Just ordered one, hopefully I beat the deadline for the lesson. Great playing Pete, looking forward to listening to the new release.
 
Just got my copy today and loving it! The whole thing is just saturated with killer riffs! Killer job Pete!

Just tried checking out the lesson material though and got an error message saying the file was no longer available? :confused:

Hmm im not home now but its hosted on my iDisk and I can see the file on my iPhone iDisk app, looks active and ok, I've not heard of any download problems today yet, everyone with a code seems to be downloading it ok...? I'll double check in an hour when I get home- if you are still having trouble, send me your email in a pm and I'll get it to you another way!

EDIT: ya I just double checked, download is working fine for me here- there's some zeros in your download code and they are ALL zeros, no letter "o" anywhere should be used. Could it be that?

yup no worries, even if it says "backordered, will ship when in stock", it's all good- you will get a CD with the lesson code affixed as long as you order by monday!
 
Just ordered my copy, can't wait check out the CD and lesson. The tones and playing in the samples are just amazing!

Hey Pete,

i ordered the cd and have not recieved it yet.my dilema is...with the holiday weekend,there is no mail monday and i will be heading down the road (otr truck driver)monday night.when i get back home june 7th,will i still be able to download the video using the info from the sticker in the cd?

Wheeeww!..............just ordered before tomorrow's deadline for the lesson. Can't wait to melt the Alpine and disrupt the neighborhood this summer. :rock:

Headed to TM to visit with those guys for a bit, and take Rob his custom head shell that my GF painted... Should be fun...

today is the last day to order the CD/lesson, it's $18.97 at CDbaby.com/cd/petethorn
If you pay $18.97, your CD will have a lesson download code attached.

Tomorrow the lesson gets discontinued and the CD will of course still be available, for $13.97.

The digital version is released tomorrow as well on CDbaby, itunes, etc. for $9.99

I just placed my order for the CD also. I see that it say's back ordered again. I wonder if there is any time frame to know when they will have more to ship to the east coast ?
