Man, Im really late to the party on this one but Damn, what a great album!!! Its Pete's first instrumental release and its so Good!!! IMO, Frampton is so criminally underrated (or underknown, your pick). The tunes and playing are top notch and Im really enjoying it. Anyone else have this? If not, its really worth the price of admission...

i bought it the week it came out because vic mentioned frampton played mojaves on it. :D
hour of need?

I've never really listened to it all the way through, but when I have my Ipod on song shuffle, one of the songs from that album will come on and each time I have found myself amazed at how good and diverse the playing is. Everything I've heard has been great and it appears he's trying to mimic many of the guitar heros of the past and present.

Great stuff!!! Peter Frampton was one of my main influences to start playing guitar (my 8-track of "Frampton Comes Alive" :D ). I can't say that I play like him, but he made me want to play in the beginning. A tremendous (and tremendously underrated) player.

I didnt hear it like that but Its diverse as hell indeed... His phrasing is so lyrical and tasty no matter what he plays IMO...

Maybe not trying to mimic other players, but his playing really touches several genre's of music. When I'm tinkering in the garage listening to my Ipod on shuffle, there's been times when I've heard a killer instrumental and found myself rushing over to see who it was, and lately it's been something off the Fingerprints disc.

I saw him 4 months ago, he did some stuff off fingerprints, I loved it. His live tone in that amphitheatre was fantastic.

Bought it the day it came out. Great disc. Frampton is one of my favorite players.

i love frampton. remember listening to f.c.a. on 8 track in 76-or 77.
