I like this new look way better.

What da ya think?

Sexy. I still dig the classic style. How are the mods treating you? I had my Hydra in for the edge upgrade a couple months ago.

Nice. I like that look. I'd love to hear/play a Peters in person. Maybe someone can get one to James for the shootout?

Chickenheads

Still my favorite sounding amp is a Peters Polaris 22 watt combo with a Weber 1230 (with pre-rola treatment) speaker.
The man done good.

Looks great. Did you get that from James or did you make it yourself?

James did that, when i sent it in for the upgrades, he was working on this new look and asked if i wanted it (The grill), the white knobs i asked for and he installed.

It has such a unique (nice) gain voicing. Too bad I didn't live nearer...I'd bring it out to an ampfest and let you try it.

I use it on most gigs and it hangs in my living room to jam on.

I much prefer the original look. But seems I am the only one :scared:

You're not the only one. I was going to have the metal grill be "the new look" but some people still order them the original way. So it looks as though I've just added the metal grills as another option to the cosmetics of my amps.

Soon to come: black faceplates with white writing. I think I'll make myself an amp in a "Hiwatt" black material, black corners, black faceplate, original style panel with black piping...

I like the original look better too, but the new look doesn't detract from the amp at all. Just makes for a different look.
Everyone likes to see the tubes glow anyways...

Those new dials look similar to the 5150 III ones (?).

What I like about the chickenhead pointer style is that you can make adjustments quickly with your fingertip. You don't have to grab an twist the dial like the circlular ones.

 on the black faceplates.

:hys: on the "Hiwatt"

Holy shit, I just realized that! I totally see what you mean! How did I not realize that!

Yes, it was intentional. :)
