Very cool, thanks for posting! Awesome you walk-in and they are playing your music, did they recognize you?

great vid, i was exactly there last week , amazing store in Shibuya the selection of high grade stuff is mind blowing, seeing the entire strymon + eventide pedal collection in one window + many more was pretty sick , and the tower records is impressive as well

didn't get to check out ochanomizu area, will try next time i make it over there

Wow, the Tower Records portion made me happy (to see something like that still exists), sad (because of the state of music in the US) and very much nostalgic. I used to love Tower Records, Sam Goody and all the mom and pop stores back in the early 80's. Now too many people are satisfied with poorly mastered (i.e. loud and without dynamics), low quality compressed files that they expect to get for free.

Thanks for posting that Pete... in case you haven't seen this, I thought it was an excellent article. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2 ... om-tv.html

May I ask why it's in exactly 5 years?

I have just moved back from Japan after a 4 year stint for the second time. I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks for reading my thread guys! Rainy day here, and it's a day off, just chilling out....

Pete
You should go climb Fuji while your there, its killer (see avatar)
Its not a bad climb at all, but it will take a whole day out of your plans if you have it to spare ;)

He's a good planner. You should hear what he's planning on doing in 9 years.

that was awesome Pete, thanks for sharing! Pretty wild to see how cool those shops are, and kind of disheartening at the same time. What a world away.

Hey guys, I just god some vid to post from one of our Budokan gigs last week, so you can get an idea what I'm doing over here, ha. Having a blast! These shows are so crazy high energy, I change my shirt 3 times a night and Im pretty sure I've lost weight just from the gigs. :) The audio is just mono 2-mix board audio, but it's not bad.
