I haven't owned too many phasers but my personal favorite is the psilocybe phaser. I recommend it-definitely worth checking out.

Haven't tried it, but a lot of guys around here love the Whirlwind Orange Box. I want to try the Digitech Phaser because it's true stereo. Haven't seen any good demos of it online though.

My fave is the MXR '74 handwired phase 90. Closest to the subtle classic phasers you can get IMO.

For the phaser with tons of control try the Digitech hyper phase. You can get them on the cheap also.
