Very little on this amp, but what is out there is that it a single channel style amp.

My, questions

At highest gain setting, what is the voicing gain level like. Is it BE style, DS style. More/less gain than a BE (which is my reference amp)?

It also looks like it doesn't particularly do clean. Is that so?

Any input appreciated
 
I have both amps. They're actually in my avatar.

Max gain on X is like BE100 on 7-8 on gain if using BE channel. It's close to the same. Different type of gain though. More JMP-like.

No clean channel but all you have to do is roll guitar volume back. If you want crystal-clear cleans it's not really the amp for that.
 
The X is beautifully open and organic! My favorite Friedman
 
The BE channel exactly the same in the preamp except for 1 little thing, which does not make it cleaner.

So you're saying the gain levels are the same?
