I was wondering about this too. Im really surprised there is no demo from Phil yet considering how long the amp has been advertised. I've always played old Marshall 800s (the one channel versions) and I'm not a high gain guy so the PX is really intriguing. I always wondered why no one made an 800 with an optional extra gain stage and a loop.

There is no gain boost just a 2nd volume for a volume boost.

Two masters thats cool. Only thing the Brown Eye was missing was a 2nd master. Looking forward to the Phil X.
