This little shit rips!!!! As expected , the factory presets are worthless , but with a little bit of knob turning , I am in awe . For a couple hundred bucks , I have never heard a more impressive little amp. The JVM and JTM45 sounds are killer ! Highly reccomended for any of my other Marshall brethren , who need a quick grab and go combo. Any other for united have experience with these? Cheers!!

Interesting. The word on these seemed to be they were pretty bad.

When the Boss Katana was all the rage last month, I picked up a Code 50. For what I wanted a little practice amp (GDeC bit the dust) this is fine.
Even brought it to a band practice and it was ok to get by with.

Hey. . . . Thanks for the post. I had started a thread a little while back when I first saw these out. I was looking to see if anyone had one. If I may ask. . . what did you pay for it? Will you be using it live gigs or just practice?

I was going to buy one of these and sell my Yamaha THR10C. I'm happy I didn't. The Yamaha is not perfect but I prefer it overall to the Marshall.

I got from MF for $212 shipped. It will be a practice , or grab and go "open jam" amp. It really does sound good. I don't know why these are getting a bad rap. The factory presets are terrible but , I feel that way about every modeller/profiler. I few knob tweaks and I was overly happy with my purchase

Can you point me to a decent clip of one. All the ones I've watched sound pretty bad.

I would definitely spend that on a good sounding Marshall practice amp. I think the problem with these (as in any modeler) is people tend to use the pre sets like that is all they have and don't take the time to adjust tones\FX. I'm a searcher and always go off the beaten path and tend to find lots of gems by digging.

I don't know if the CODE 100 would be worth dishing out $400 but to be honest, I'd rather have the extra power. I am using a Behringer V-Tone 212 as my practice rig now but I do not use anything but the power amp, everything comes from my digital rack into the slave inputs. For a SS head, it kicks a ton!

Thanx for getting back to me on this.
