GC in Kalamazoo has a really nice selection of Heritage guitars right now, including a Core 150. But there was a 2020 Dirty lemon burst Standard that was calling to me! GC had a great offer on Heritage stuff right now so I took it home!

I had to do a complete setup on it. The action was sky high and there was way too much relief in the neck. But it setup PERFECTLY! Low action and the neck straightened out very well. Being PLEKED makes a huge difference!!!! HUGE!!!!

Heritage had definitely stepped up to the plate with their quality. This 150 is stellar!!! As good as any Gibbons CS I have ever played!! I do think they need to get away from SD 59s though, I’m not really impressed with them.

I am literally drooling. Man, I've said it a million times...YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE COOLEST STUFF!!!!!!!!!

Thanks bro. I really appreciate that!
I know we have talked before, I used to get up to Kalamazoo once a year for Bells...I am planning a trip this fall (fingers crossed). We gotta meet up so you can show me the good gear spots!

Wow that is awesome. I grew up in the Zoo (Portage actually) -- we never had a GC back then, but my first guitar was made by the guys at Heritage. I had a Warmoth neck, and I naively knocked on the back door at the old Gibson factory and asked if they would build me a guitar with it (as one does when they are 16 -- just go straight to the factory). The guy who answered the door probably wasn't expecting that, but he thought about it and thought "why not" and two months later I had my first guitar -- kind of a "Jon Snow" Heritage.

Wow, that’s nice!! I’ve been wanting the Heritage version of the ES335. Heritage make killer guitars!

HNGD!

Didn’t even know GC had heritage guitars, haven’t been in one in years. Nice pickup. :)
