Which has more Low End Punch?
1. MCP Afwayu
2. Suhr Aldrich
3. SD JB

Is it a Scooped Punch, I've noticed with some pickups that the Tone will appear to have more punch because it's scooped & the Bass seems extended.Afwayu by a long shot.

That's how i felt too when i finally got to try a guitar with a JB. The Aldrich is similar but IMO has more low mids. so it appears to bloom more.I find the JB is fatter than what people usually give it credit for, but I also find it has more low mids than actual low-end. So rather than calling the JB "punchy", I'd say it's a bit more stuffy.
i've never tried the vintage DF but i have bought a new one once for an SG i had for a minute.Afwayu has the most lows of those 3. One of my go-to’s though if I’m looking for a big low end are my vintage Dirty Finger’s
I Have an Afwayu in my Jackson but i don't have a lot of experience with the JB nor with the Aldrich. Actually the only guitar that i remember playing with a JB in it was a LP Studio that belonged to Rob from Blood for Blood & this was back in maybe 2005-2006.Afwayu has a ton of low end. Aldrich has a good amount as well but not as much as the mcp
This…and, if you want punch/lows in the same vein with another winder Scott’s Psyches is right there with those two..better sounding overall than the Afwayu imo and very close to either of my vintage Shaw DFs which are killer, but struggle with feedback at times since they are unpotted.Afwayu has the most lows of those 3. Of those 3, the afwayu for sure, but have the afwayu in house against the Psykes, wins out for low endThis…and, if you want punch/lows in the same vein with another winder Scott’s Psyches is right there with those two..better sounding overall than the Afwayu imo and very close to either of my vintage Shaw DFs which are killer, but struggle with feedback at times since they are unpotted.
