I'm all ears. I hate buying, not liking, selling, buying on and on. I have used Suhr Pickups, Anderson H3+, and most of Bareknuckles. The guitar is a swamp ash bodied suoperstrat, flamed maple cap and flamed maple board and neck. I have been playing Suhr Aldrich's in my Moderns. this new one is also a SSH config 5 way switch with pull split bridge. I like harder rock and higher gained tones for the most part.

I really liked the duncan custom custom in my swamp ash grosh. The extra mids of the pickup married well with the scooped mids of the ash body. I think the mcp black iron and blister bucker are his take on that pickup. Similar maybe a little tighter and clean up better than the duncan in my experience. If you like a little lower out put the grosh blown 59 is great and in the same vein but more open and brighter, more upper mid bite. All a2 mags.

Duncan Custom Custom, and Dimarzio Super 3 and Tone Zone immediately came to mind.
