Pickup suggestions for a PRS SC250.

I have been thinking about switching out the pickups in my PRS for some Aldrich pickups. When I got my Prs it already had a CustomCustom and Jazz in the neck. I am playing threw an EVH 5150III head and cab. I don't play alot of metal any more but I need the versitility. Also , I want to coil tap the neck pickup. Any and all suggestions are appriciated.

I have 2 SC 250s. One is stock and the other has a BK Painkiller. I love the aggressive mids of the painkiller better. Maybe more aggressive than you are looking for. I've been thinking about the Aldrich in the other guitar. I think that'd be a killer pickup for this guitar. That or a Motor City Afwayu.

The afwayu was another option that I had in mind. Does the painkiller clean up good with some roll back on the guitars volume?

It does okay I guess. It doesn't get super clean if that's what you want.

aldrich is a good choice, i also like the tremonti pickups.

Yea, I've got a couple of SC250s. I really like the stock 250 bridge pickup (it's a Tremonti). If you're going for high output pickups, it's a great one.

But you might like the effect of low outputs in the 250. Motor City Detroiter or Suhr DSV are great choices.
