Pickup suggestions for Ibanez RGA42

Hi guys, i recently got an Ibanez RGA42 through a trade that i love to death-i am however, thinking of upgrading the pickups. I have mostly played BKP until now but am after something different . Its a mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. I have been toying with the idea of possibly D-Activators or Dominion (maybe paired with a Liquifire in the neck).
I play metal(Metallica, Opeth, InfLames, Katatonia, Death) through a Peavey JSX.
I am after a ceramic bridge pickup with healthy mids.

Get a Dimarzio Super 3 and be done with it. Best metal pup!
 
Too late man-purchased some D-activators from a fellow forumite-we shall see how they perform!

and out of curiosity, what didnt you like about the D-Activators?
 
They seemed a bit sterile. Plenty of presence and reacts to gain well but seemed more fit to using with processors. I am more of a tube only tone guy.
