as promised here are some pics of me and my son at tesla. they all treated him like a VIP...

Nice ! Good to see down to earth rockers without the ego. What amps were they playing through?

Marshall and krank 1980's... they are bummed that krank went under.

Tesla just flat, F'n rocks. My absolute favorite band. Ever. They aren't perfect, but they get up on stage, week in and week out, and rock the f@#^ out. Much respect

NICE!!!
Saw them open for DLR before they exploded.
I only heard "Modern Day Cowboy" prior to seeing the show. Went out and bought their tape the very next day.
One of my favorite bands to this day.

Awesome man... Tesla has some great tunes and Frank Hannon is beyond legit.

One of my fav bands ever, very underrated --- take a listen from 2:20 on , nice drum solo , and then ripping leads!

Hannon is the shit. If it was late at night the kids kinda young to be in a club but what do i know ?

Well jaeger earned this one. He's been a good boy all summer so far haha. So his mom and I decided he had earned a late night with papa!

Had it been some nu-metal band with a concert hall full of teens I wouldn't have taken but most the folks there were 40+ and there were some other kiddos there too. I had one extra pass and gave it to a 12 girl that was there with her parents. It was her 1st concert too and they drove in from lake Charles Louisiana to see the show. She was star struck. I'm glad I had an extra backstage pass for her.

Kewlest Dad evar ... !!!

My oldest son's first concert was Vince Neil, Quiet Riot, and Slaughter at the Sam Houston Race Park here in Houston a few years back before kevin died. we decided to grab a bit to eat across the street from the venue and low and behold there was Slaughter's bassist and drummer having dinner too. we sat down and ate with them and Jake got to watch the show from the side of the stage. It is so cool when rockers let go of the attitude and remember what it was like to be a kid. Now my son is a damn drummer!!! LOL.. payback for me driving my parents crazy I guess... and two of my kiddos where in the womb during their first shows!! haha.. one was at kiss and my oldest was at metallica.

we are a live music family that's for sure.

Looks like he had the time of his life! What a great thing for him to experience.

Man that is cool on so many levels.

Cool band. Cool forever memories for dad and son. It is awesome to be the cool dad.

There will be stories of the glorious road trip years from now!

Mad props
