I know it may not be the most popular flavor here, but Gilmour and slow improvising are not easy, not to me anyway.

Slow backing tracks kick my ass everytime.

Trying to improvise over these kinds of backing tracks makes you appreciate guitarists like Gilmour and alike. They really are special types of players.

Weird how certain songs don't seem so slow...until you try to play them. And others don't seem so fast...until you try to play them.
