pink taco owners

Is the pink taco loud enough for a band? i used to have a bogner alchemist and it was 20 watts but I never used it with a band.
Would it work in a 2 guitar classic rock band or should I just buy an old jcm800 and have dave mod it? around the same price really.

I'd say yes it's plenty loud for small to medium sized venues. I've used mine in a 2 guitar band for a couple of gigs, never got the volume past 11-12 o clock.

Plenty loud as yankeebulldog said... I recently used mine for a fairly loud band rehearsal, I only got the volume up to about 2 and it was crankin'! I was running thru a Splawn 1x12, the other guitar player running a JSX head and 4x12. At home, I rarely get it much past 1 on the knob.

How is the low end thump? Most EL84 amps seem to lack the thump of larger glass.

I actually found it to have too much. My main issue was that it was a little too dark sounding, but Dave modded/updated it and it sounds a lot more balanced now.

depends on the cab, through a 4x12 it has plenty of bottom end
