Holy shit that solo was fucking ripping!!!!!!!

I find it both funny and twisted that Pink's guitarist wold smoke 99% of today's metal band's guitarists

His feel and shredding could take on 90% of guitarists from the 80s and 90s as well IMHO.

No doubt!!!

I could see Pink running into Metallica............." When you bitches going to get a real guitar player!!!!!!" :hys: :hys: :hys:

Love Pink's voice.

As a matrter of fact, I like that better than the original

Does anyone know how he got that acoustic tone from that guitar? Is it sim or is someone playing an acoustic backstage or something?

Speaking of Annie, I have always loved this performance........

I liked this guy the first time that I saw him( it was a demo of a bogner I think, not 100% sure) and alot of people were bagging on him( for his scarf LOL and the fact that he was playing shreddy bits as well). Kind of ridiculous when the guy has obvious skills. I also happen to like his vibrato,( not sure why youd call it overtly obmoxious Adam but youre welcomed to your opinion!!!)

Here is another cool bit showing that he isnt a one trick pony

ya beat me to it!!!

I agree Kage, he has the ability to shred but does it very tasteful IMHO. He is one of the few guitarist to actually inspire me in quite some time. I really dig his vibrato as well.

Pink is amazing. There are some great videos on Youtube of her with Steel Panther. She is one of the few "artists" that not only didn't get shredded by them, like say Avril Levine, but was just plain shining. They showed her respect all while doing their schtick. She really is talented.

I just don't like the uber-wide vibrato, it's just not to my taste really.

This is one of the times Pink played with Steel Panther. This is back when they were called Metal Skool. You might also remember them as Danger Kitty from the old Discover Card commercials. They are pretty amazing players and although they do a lot of covers, their own disc is really good. Russ Parish is on guitar as Satchel and that is Ralph Saenz on vocals. Russ play for Halford and was Paul Gilbert's roomate in GIT and shreds. Look from some of his Satchel solos on youtube. Pink does a bunk of songs on various nights with them, but I think this one just shows her natural talent and them having a good time. There are plenty of videos of celebrities getting up with them, and various singers and S.P. just take pride in making them look stupid..for fun. They showed pink nothing but respect for her talent. I mean, they still groped her...but then again they are Steel Panther....
