I can get a Case of Heineken for $20 buck where a whole lot more than filling a bottle with Tap Water went into it..
I drink a couple Cases of Water a week. If I tried to get it in a bottle I'm looking at hundreds of dollars extra per week.

Comment?

Maybe a Filter for Tap Water?

The biggest problem with plastic bottles leeching microplastics is heat. You have no idea what temperature changes your case of water went through before it got to you, but do yourself a favor and don't let it got hot once you have it in your possession.

Yes.

I recommend a KDF cartridge under the sink. You can place 2 or even 3 of them in-line if you're paranoid, but in my experience KDF is superior to traditional carbon filtration so there's that.

Being sensitive to heavy metals, I noticed that KDF cartridges lasted longer before I noticed them coming through. With the normal ones I'd start becoming scatterbrained and really-depressed after just 4 to 6 weeks. I'm running 3 KDFs in-series and can easily go a year now.

Once, due to finances, I had to wait 5 years before I could get them replaced. I thought it was "only" 3, but oh man, did it mess with my health and state of mind. The lesson is to replace periodically no matter what.
