The little Marshall is actually cool as hell. It's the loudest one watt you'll ever hear...its easily as loud as a tweed Champ. It sounds great and has enough gain to do classic hard rock while cleaning up nicely when you roll back the guitars volume. At the full 1-watt setting, its easily loud enough to piss off the neighbors if you live in an apartment but the low power setting is pretty quiet (I didn't spend much time there). Bottom end is loose but so were the originals. I scoffed at these things when I first heard of them but they're actually a functional, useful amp. I tried it though a Marshall 4x12 and a Mesa 1x12...sounded cool with both. It would make a great recording amp and you could actually rehearse with a drummer who doesn't pound the skins too hard. I'm looking forward to the JCM.

The YJM is simply another great take on the Plexi. Sounds great for the most part although it can get a bit dark with too much attenuation. The boost is cool and functional, but it definitely sounds/feels different than the DOD peal that I thought it was supposed to mimic. If I didn't already have my Marshall tone needs covered this would be a strong contender. Great amp.

I'd love to give one a try. Those videos were cool and they just seem like no hassle fun.

Yeah. That JTM sounded really good. I am seriously considering it. Keep hearing good things.

That one is freaking sweet. Played it at NAMM and it is just super cool and sounds great. Bottom is much tighter than the JTM version.

Hey Guys,

I will be carrying these in my shop as well as other Marshall's. If you want to try one shoot me a PM.

Very cool, seems people that know plexi type amps really dig the YJM. Miss I could score one but my other hobby is sucking me dry

Played the YJM recently. What a cool Marshall. Total crime they're only making a few of them. Loved the tone and features. Marshall pisses me off. They haven't been exactly hitting it out of the park in recent years and when they do get it right they fuck it up by making it a limited edition. Still waiting for them to come out with a model that can actually compete with the Cameron and Friedman amps. The YJM is as close as they've come.

The sad part is that at the marina where I keep my boat, btw the price of an YJM amp PER YEAR, I have the smallest boat there

Flipping amps is poverty level compared to boats

I owned a 21' Boston Whaler once that cost me $332,000. My wife said either the Whaler had to go or she was gone. I don't know where she ended up. The total price for owning the Whaler was $32K for the boat and $300K for the house and court costs.....
