Recently sold my SV20H to help fund a 2203x and I'm very happy. Thanks for all your advice with that.

Next thing on my list is to get another Plexi. But I'm not going to go back to the SV20, I want something with a bit more low wlend and more balls.

What are my options and what would you guys recommend?

I have all the gain I need with the JCM 800, and I mainly used the SV20 for Hendrix, Peter Green, Cream and Zeppelin type stuff. That's what the new amp would have to nail. Plus clean bluesy stuff.

Many thanks

Ceriatone? They just came out with an "All Access" Plexi that looks pretty cool

The Germino stuff sounds spectacular; if you don't want to spent the huge money an original costs these days. Germinos aren't cheap; but they sometimes come up used.

+1 on this, I have a Masonette that sounds killer.

U can get late 70`s jmp mv for 1500 if you look, if it was your/my only amp Id find early as possible shiva they can be had for 1500

I had a Germino club 40 that was amazing for those tones. I did need to goose it with a Timmy but man what a sound. Low end was HUGE and clear.

That Ceriatone looks awesome. Takes all the classic common simple gain tweaks and puts them on switches. Allows you to combine what you want and get that plexi on 10 sort of feel. I also love that he posts all his layouts showing that he doesn't own anything, he is merely using common knowledge to design his circuits.

I’ve got a 50w ‘74 JMP if you’re interested
I’ve played through this amp and it’s incredible. Beautiful Marshall tone and next level with a boost.
