Hey guys, after seeing this video by Ola a few days ago, it got me interested in a potential plugin pack to do orchestral stuff on top of some tracks. Sounds fun to mess around with. However, this one is still pretty pricey (500 bucks from what I've seen so far?). I haven't really been big into following software or plugin options as I haven't really needed them up to this point. Do you guys have any similar plugins or things you'd recommend for getting a bit nutty, a la Devin Townsend? Lol. I was hoping for something that didn't cost as much that works with Reaper, but don't know if something like that existed. Thanks in advance!
There are shit tons of them out there. Rather than going through a list, what I would recommend is to try it out for a while and see if you really get into it before buying anything. Sign up for EastWest subscription and try their products. They have the gamut of virtual instrument plugins. There are a few others that do a subscription model as well.
