This pedal was designed by Nick at Dunwich Amplification and was built by Paul at PLX-FX. It's very obviously trying to recreate the Metallica IIC+ sound. It's a Mesa Mark IIC+ preamp with an Aphex EQF-2 style Parametric EQ built in. There aren't many of these in the wild. Does it sound like a IIC+? No preamp, module, capture or profile does. It's still fun. I ran it through a Mesa 20/20 a bit. Didn't like it through a Powerstage 170.
