Not sure if this is normal but when I switch from the BE channel to the HBE, there's a popping noise. It's not noticeable when playing but is when not playing. Normal or?

Pretty sure it's normal. Most all the pops in switching amp Ch's is from static buildup in the footswitch, or atleast thats what I've been told. For people that are located in the cold winter right now and with dry gas heat blaring, there is much more static electricity. I've shocked myself a few times getting in and out of car yesterday and that shit had some pop and zing. I could power a overdrive pedal with my finger.

I get a bit of pop when playing, but when I palm mute...no pop from BE to HBE. Same thing going from clean to BE.
Interestingly enough, when I roll preamp tubes, some tubes give me "less" pop than others when switching channels.

I get a little pop also going from BE to clean when amp is first engaged.

No pop going from BE to HBE or from BE to clean. I'm using a relay from my Fractal FX8 to do the channel switching.

Yes there is a small pop and that's normal. Not really noticed when playing.
