Interested to see the unique and cool ideas people have when making partscasters or totally custom builds from home. No high end custom shop stuff.

Left is my scalloped canadian maple neck "kramer" using dimensions from a Kramer American. Jumbo frets, JB at the bridge and Ebay hotrails on the neck. Volume speed pot and tone knob disconnected. Floyd Rose locking bridge. The body is from my first ever guitar that started it's life as a Fender Squire Showmaster

Right is hardtail stratocaster body with a JB at the bridge and a Dirty Fingers at the neck. Coil tap on both of the pickups and speed volume pot. The neck is from an Aria Pro 2 left handed guitar (hence the flick up) with Jumbo frets.

I built a replica of Billy Corgan's 1974 Strat.
He swapped the lace sensors out for his new signature pickups so i did the same. '74 neck,'76 body. String Saver saddles.

Dimarzio BC1,Chopper and BC2.
Gotta get the sticker set.

USA Custom on left, Warmoth on other left. Both have had some changes since this pic (Warmoth got a Maple/Pau Ferro neck).

Grabbed this off of another forum as a body, neck and bridge. Added tuners, pickup and guard and ended up with this. Sitting in drop B atm:

Did this one up with the help of MJT...Rewind pickups, compensated saddles, Hipshot tuners, in drop C lol:

This one started life as a stock Ibanez RGIB6...yanked the EMGs, tone knob and killswitch, threw in a BKP Warpig, guard, locking tuners:

LTD Strat body, Perle guard, MIM Fender neck, filled the trem cavity w/mahogany and used a Hipshot bridge and Hipshot tuners. This was dubbed the Halloweenocaster for obvious reasons:

I try and do at least one a year, picking up parts as and when I can. They're always fun and I usually end up selling them to friends that dig em.

Thanks man. I have some summer builds planned. I'm going to do 7-string with a Floyd Rose, an LP with stainless steel frets, and a PRS style stoptail. I'll post some pics in a few months.

Ha ha! Thanks. I got the idea for that one from a cheap Surf Pearl Squire that I saw once.

I like that a lot.
