Power My Porkchop Express (Power Amp Content)

This is Jack Burton in the ol' Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there. I really need a 1U power amp to power the dry section of my W/D/W rig in progress. I hear talk of such a beast from the Egnater camp and would like to know if this is still in the works. You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

Well Jack, we have no idea what you might say at a time like this. I'm guessing you will not keep us waiting long to find out.

1U power amp has been discussed. If you need it within the next 12 months I would not get over excited. I think it will be a while.

I really do hope Bruce pulls it off. This thing would fly around on wires cuttin' everybody to shreds. I mean I'm a reasonable guy, but I've just experienced some very unreasonable things. Like a 9 month wait for my M4 and no free Tshirt. It's gonna take cracker jack timing but I was born ready. I just don't want it to turn into a Chinese standoff. I don't even know what the hell that means.

C'mon Bruce I need to shake the pillars of heaven with this thing. Like I told my last wife, I says, "Honey, I never play faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes."

Yeah it really would. The Mesa 20/20 is the only other 1U tube power amp out there. I do not like EL84's and would much prefer to use a mix of power tubes. If it can do 60w bridged that would put it right where I need it. 1U will be a close shave EL34's, 5881's, and 6L6's but I believe Bruce is the man for the task. I'm sure he has bigger fish to fry at present, but I hope this hasn't been abandoned.

We'll send the dogs out for ya when she hits the market. Actually I made the assumption that he has actually done some of the design work already. He asked a while back what the maximum depth acceptable would be, indicationg he had done some work on it.
