My work is having a clear out of old audio gear and my boss said it was cool for me to grab one of the power strips that aren't needed anymore. There was an ART one and a Samson so I grabbed the Samson PS10

I want it to replace the generic ebay power strip I currently use so I can add surge protection etc to my rig however the IntelliFX and Korg Tuner run on 9v/12v power supplies. Is there a poor mans way of powering these units off the Samson using the IEC connectors? I know there are breakout boxes for multiple pedals into IEC but that's a little overkill and was hoping for a cheaper solution.

Any help greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I'm in the UK

Well, it doesn't do anything the old power strip didn't, as such. You´ll still need the AC adaptors or whatever you´re using to get 9V and 12V to them today.

Thought as much! Is there much point in putting the Samson in? It has AC noise filtering, Surge/Spike protection and a 15 amp circuit breaker which the Ebay strip doesnt have. Was under the impression for reliability it's worth using branded power strips for live.

Yeah, all those features are good if the old strip don´t have them at all, so I´d definitely put it in.
