I am finally looking at getting a power supply with isolated outputs. A few notable pedals are the TC Electronics Nova Repeater (12V), Diamond Bass comp (runs at 18V), Akai Headrush, Retroman Ubervibe. Not sure which pedalboard I am going to use the new power supply on.

Anyway I am debating between these 3, if there is another one I should consider, please let me know.

1. Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 plus
2. BBE Supa Charger
3. Trex Fuel Tank

Any recommendations between those or another I have not listed? Isolated outputs is a must, at least 8, more would be nice. :)

I would go Voodoo Lab or Cioks. Both great power supply manufacturers! I currently have 3 Voodoo Lab Pedal Power units...one being the original when they first came out about 16 years ago, and it's still running flawlessly. I had the T-Rex Fuel Tank and had a few noise issues.

8 isolated outs isn't always easy =0

I'd suggest maybe

the Cioks DC-10

10 outs, within 8 isolated sections

although you'd need a split cable to get 18v

the BBE Supacharger is probably the best bang for your buck, as long as it has enough mA for your pedals

they have a 16 outlet monster as well if you want to go really crazy =0 , out of the 3 you picked out i'd probably go for Voodoo Labs or the BBE (Trex i think is common ground)

Just to throw out another idea, what about the Dunlop MC403? It appears to be a massive unit with tons of options...

That would handle everything, but there is no way that would fit underneath the 2nd tier on my NYC pedalboard. I think I need to start paying close attention to dimensions of the unit as well.

Cioks has a similar monster supply coming out this supper according to their website....

Of the 3 you mentioned, I would go voodoo labs. the pedal power 2+ is my go to power supply

Not sure why there is such a huge price difference between the two, but all that power for $250 from prymaxe is a steal.

There's an eBay store selling it for $229 with free shipping right now

I love my Voodoo Labs power supply. Can't go wrong there.
