I was tube swapping, and was amazed at the simplicity and pureness of the signal paths of these two units. I figured, I might as well take pictures while the covers are off. I thought people would like to see that. Guess not.

I'm always amazed when looking at some preamp designs.... especially these 2 space rack preamps. You'd think they'd be chock full of stuff, but all in all, they're relatively empty inside.

But empty is good.

a few, carefully selected , spaced out componenents sure sound better than a million microchips.
