Hi there, just want to know the identity of these 12ax7s - which are rebranded AFAIK.

The first one is a TAD 7025WA HigGrade, plates inside are shiny and the tube glows like hell when working. Sound quite clear and bright.

The second one is Tube Town rebranded 12ax7/ECC83 "Classic" , this one:

I swaped out a JJ ECC83s for this one in V2, and it sounds a lil less flat/muffled, so I guess it's not the same tube.

Any ideas?

If that has a shiny square getter it’s Chinese 8th/9th. The structure on the side looks very similar. But I can’t tell without seeing the getter.

Looks like current production Chinese
Thanks so much. It sounds slightly different than my NOS Chinese 6N4J, but still very good.

Now, anyone has ideas about the TT Classic?

Yep. 8th Gen Chinese Sino. Usually a little less gain than their 12AX7s.

Need better or angled pics of the TT.
