Preamp Tubes Suggestions For 6505+ Head

check your phase inverter tube the pretube closest to the power tubes.

follow the flowchart on FJA website.

i've also experienced some weird oscillating noises that stem from close solder traces/bad solder traces on the preamp board....but, if you're not sure what you're doing in an amp, just take it to a tech.

The Sovtek 12ax7LPS preamp tube to the far left looking at the back, I did notice that it wasn't really glowing all that bright but the rest of the preamp tubes were and 3 outta the 4 new EH 6L6's are glowing fine but one of them isn't glowing that bright?? :confused: As far as the shuguang 12ax7b's if I go and order them from that website, how many should I get and what positions should they go in?
 
Also, the parts I ordered from Peavey came in last week. I got the preamp cover plate, back metal mesh panel protective cover, power cord hooks with 2 screws and 6 black screws with washers but the 6 black screws with washers I though those were for the preamp tube cover plate but they're too big and they're even a tight squeeze for the back metal mesh cover? I can only assume the preamp tube cover uses the same little screws as the peavey logo on the front of the head right? Does anyone know what size those 6 screws are for the preamp tube cover panel, I want to just go to the hardware store today to get them
