Working on finishing this rig up at the moment. I ran into a few snags, so it probably won't be fully wired until late next week, but by that time, I'll have the pedalboard done and ready to go with this. In the mean time, here are some pics:

what effects are you using from the whammy?

are you using the ractifier only as a preamp and shooting it into the mosvalve, or using the mosvalve only for the wet?

looks awsome Tom, also where did you get the pedal rack tray and the rack?

I'm using the +1 octave up for the whammy. That seems to sound the most musical out of the rest of the features. +2 octaves up is neat, but it starts to get into dog hearing territory.

The MosValve is only for W/D and W/D/W at the moment. I'd like to replace it with a 2:90 and have the ability to go stereo without destroying my sound too much, but that'll be later down the road when I have useless money to spend. In all honesty, the rig will usually be running in mono, but the MosValve works nicely for W/D stuff. Not the best, but it works. It was actually a gift from Pete Laramee, and it's surprisingly light.

You don't have to lift that do you?

Unfortunately, yes. Just ask my back. :aww: Thank fuck for casters, that's for sure. The rig weighs in at 175 lbs total.

I'm in the process of building my rack right now. I am waiting for a new switcher to come in the mail, and then I will have a recto preamp, Peavey Rock master preamp, and a .50 cal + for my amps. I have a Gmajor and a few pedals
Then I will later on add a 2:100 to power both preamps and have some really cool W/D/W stuff going on... But The rack will be over 200Lbs

Oh, I completely forgot your last two questions. Rack is an EWI 12u shockmount rack:

Tray is a Penn-Elcom tray:

Sounds like it'll be badass. The Rockmaster pre I had was pretty cool. The worst part about W/D/W is carrying the cabinets. W/D is a bit more practical.

Yeah, I WIll have two recto cabs for it and two mesa 2x12's...  And I have my gear on the second floor

I have back issues already after a few BMX accidents, so there's no way I could carry that much gear. If you can tough it out, all the merrier! I'd love to see the face of the FOH guy when you bring the gear to a small club, though. :D

  I also have an OK back, but not great. I can have my Brother help me carry it around like he usually does   and what cables are you using?

nice rack, very similar to what i have...gmajor/mosvalve. bet it is sweet with the rectifier. the mosvalve is a not so bad way to get into w/d/w.

very nice and clean! I hope for your sake you never find yourself loading into a venue with a broken elevator!

Yeah, time to start lifting weights and buffing up like Petrucci. :D

nice work dude!

didn't you have a mark III in there at one time??

Yeah, I did. I still have the Mark III, but it's in another rack at the moment. I have a Rocktron Intellifex that'll go with that one for 80s tones. It'll probably be a small 6u rack or something. When both of those heads were in this, it was well over 200 lbs. Lifting something that weighs as much as you is quite as challenge...
