I thought this guy did a good job. I coulda used no delay and maybe tune the guitar a bit, but still a good representation of tones/features

The sound around 16 minutes was better than the clips I've heard of pretty much every big name Marshall modder.

He's playing thru a loadbox. You're not hearing the amp by itself.

Despite what Dave Friedman and some of the other modders have said about messy wiring and how simple the mod is, it does still sound really good to me and does not lose the rawness of what makes a Marshall a Marshall. ( No hollow or soft Friedman mids) Price is ridonculous though.

I think it sounds good...But not great. It's a matter of taste, but if I'm going to mod a Marshall...It's going to be meaner and more aggressive that that.

I dunno about these types of “mods”. This would have been cool in the early 80s but is this all that appealing in today’s world? There isn’t much versatility in either of these amps. They sound outdated and not in a cool nostalgic way. The ability to do these older sounds would be a lot cooler if we could also dial them in to be a little more modern and relevant.

At $3800 or whatever it is, these better not have those Vietnamese transformers. I mean you’re competing with the hand built by Dave Friedman Arrendondo at this price point….not that tough of a decision.
