Has V30 x 75, removed stereo/mono switch and rewired with heavier gauge wire.

In pretty good condition, had a couple of dings.

Guy offered cash + this cab in trade for my Charvel. Not sure what the cab is worth or what I could get on a resale.

Cabs just don’t sell very well; even tho it sounds like a good one. I’d say 300 trade value.

You will then unfortunately

You're probably better off assuming it's worth only whatever the resale value of the individual speakers. It stinks, but you practically have to pay someone to take a 4x12.

Just repeating what everyone else has said on here --- cabs take a long ass time to sell. Especially cabs that are readily available and the 1960A cab (even with diff speakers in it and other upgrades) is one of those cabinets that will just sit there for a long, long time. The downside is that people frequently value these cabinets much higher than what they will sell for. I would not trade for a cab that I would not be using.

yeah id say 200 trade value , 4x12 are a dime a dozen nobody is looking for one...

This. I love $200 cabs because I have more than enough space and can make as much noise as I well damn please. They don't sell fast though. This past year I bought three English Celestion loaded cabs between $150 and $250.

They don't sell fast because people think that they are obsolete. Personally I love 4x12's, but I don't gig with them. But again I can make noise and have plenty of room for them.

Also, I agree that I look at the value of the speakers. Heavier gauge wire is not worth more than $2 that IMO is a bullshit factor.

If you don't use it, it will sit on classifieds for a long time. I would not get a cab for any reason unless I were to use it.

Yeah, I'm still debating. $200 for a quick sale sounds great for the buyer and you're all probably right. Even at $300 the cab will sit, need to decide if I want this cab to use.
