We are playing from 4:30 to 5:50 on the Smirnoff's VIP Stage. If you make it out stop by and say hello.

What time does everything start over there? I was planning on getting tattooed at 3:00 thinkin the show didn't start till 7:00[/quote]

I think Testament goes on around 6:00pm. I'm not positive.

Couple friends of mine saw the Testament / Judas Priest tour when it came through here. Said that JP was amazing and Testament was pretty good (though they had terrible, terrible sound).

Great show. Testament sounded really good. Alex tore it up as usual. Didn't watch Motorhead. Heaven and Hell was awesome. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. I was blown away watching my heros. Priest was pretty good but in my opinion H&H stole the show.

Got to meet fellow rigtalker bstaley saw his band play 2 min to midnight which they pegged  .

Had to get 4 of the 9 guys I went with out of the drunk tank.

Had a blast

man,i cant wait...we'll see the tour, here in Chicago,on tuesday.got great seats for it.17th row,dead-center stage...i saw Heaven & Hell, last year, three times(twice in Chicago, once out at "Cobo Hall" in Detroit.rode motorcycles out there with some friends).watching the 1st show,in Chicago, during the first leg of the U.S. tour was "magical".i was blown away at how awesome Dio & Sabbath sounded that nite.had killer seats too,but man, were they expensive! the "Mob Rules" album is among my "top ten" all-time favs LP's and i still remember going to the store to buy it on "cassette tape" back in late 1981/early 1982.it was a local k-mart-ish type store called "Venture".dont know if they had this store "chain" outside of Illinois, but their logo was a diagonal,black-n-white "striped" sign that read "Venture" across it.bought ALOT of great albums & tapes, during that killer period of time,music-wise,at good 'ole "Venture"...not to mention that store,in my particular area, had alot of hot, little metalhead "slutties" working there...lol!

Thanks for the kind words. We had a blast, and it was nice meeting you. What a fun night.

update...well,the show was AWESOME,here in Chicago, last nite! HEAVEN & HELL were absolutely killer & spot-on,but i actually enjoyed Priest even more.i didnt think i'd say that, after Heaven & Hell finished playing, but Priest were just as good,spot-on,and the deciding winning 'point' went to Priest for the fact that they stunned me by playing mostly rare,b-side type songs of the 1hr 15min show.Priest only played six of the usual classic songs, that you typically hear at each of their live shows, which were...Hellion/Electric Eye,Metal Gods,Devil's Child,Breakin The Law,You Got Another Thing Coming, and Hell Bent For Leather...everything else on the night's set list was different stuff that never usually gets played live, which i absolutely loved to hear for the fact that it was different.they opened the set with the 1st song of the new album,Nostradamus.they played rare songs like... Eat Me Alive,Rock Hard-Ride Free,Hell Patrol,Angel,etc...Glenn Tipton & K.K. Downing played as good as they EVER have.definately a GREAT show!!! Motorhead were good, but we missed almost all of Testament, which i wanted to see,but the damn traffic sucked getting down to the "stix",where this outdoor venue was located and it didnt help that it was on a weekday,either...otherwise,if you have a chance to see it,i'd recommend doing so...

FUCK YEA!!!! I kinda felt like I was witnessing a historic moment. The best show I've seen in years.
