A bit drawn to this guitar at the moment in terms of purchase, maybe a Modern later. Have a few questions:

1) Interested in experiences from other Suhr S3 users that have S3's

2) In terms of "Holy Grail" orientation, can someone comment on what that means in relation to a alder/maple style neck in terms of tone. The application for me is wide ranging, rock-jazz-blues-metal. App purpose.

3) If this has the floating tremolo system, does it have the tremel-no installed or do I need to do that on my own.

4) Is SSH+ pickup hotter than Duncan JB ?

1) My experience is great :D
2) For sure it's very versatile wood combination. SSH+ is pretty strong HB and can do metal too (IMO).
But actually if I would choose again, I would take S1. I think more classic combination would work even better for me.
And SSV in the bridge would be also more useful for me.

But do not forget what I wrote in 1): guitar is great and I have no will to let it go :)

3) No, thre is no tremel-no installed.

4) No idea, I have never used JB.

The output of the SSH+ is similar to that of the JB but the SSH+ is much clearer in the mids and sweeter on the top. It also cleans up exceptionally well when rolling down the volume pot.

Found one at Rocket Music. On order, can't wait. Thanks for all the assistance here.
