Looking through thousands (not) threads, How does one place the time based effects in the chain? The preamp (rack or pedal) into the poweramp rack or slave; where to put time based effects? Between the preamp out->effects->Power amp->cab?

If in a rack, yes pre-delay-power amp. If you’re slaving then take the signal off a line out box-effects-power amp-speakers.
