Problem with my new Renegade

I have a brand new Renegade head and Tourmaster cabinet. Many times, when I switch from the clean channel to the dirty channel, there is no output. Then the output is attenuated and eventually comes up to volume. It never happens on the clean channel. I've tried letting the amp warm up on standby for a good length of time, but the same thing happens.

I'm heartbroken. I'd hate to send it out for repair. Any ideas?

I agree with the above. First of all, put the tube mix all the way to the left for both channels. See what happens. Next, move the tube mix all the way to the right and repeat. This should tell you if the power tubes are bad. If it's messed up both times just on channel 2, then it's a pre amp tube most likely. Just use logic and try the simple stuff first.
