Problem with the Koko Boost in loop...

In my rig, I want a boost in the BE100 fx loop for solos. I bought a Koko Reloaded and put it after my TimeLine delay in the loop.
My problem, is that even at the lowest setting on the Koko, the boost is WAY too loud in comparison to the rhythm setting. It seems to exponentially increase the boost volume as I turn up the amp as well (even with all dials set to zero).
What am I missing?

I ended up returning the Koko in exchange for a MXR 10-band eq which works like a charm. The eq is better as well as I can fine tune which frequency I want to boost.

You weren't missing anything. The Koko excels at pushing the font of the amp into higher gain territory. Even at the lowest setting, the Koko Reloaded is pushing too hard to give just the slight boost you're looking for in the loop. I love it in front of my amp. But if you just wanted a volume boost for solos, using an eq like you did is the better option.

Don't have one myself, but try the Koko in front of the amp with just a slight mid boost to get some more cut.

For volume boosting I'm using my TimeLine's boost in the loop. I use two presets per song: one rhythm delay with unity gain, one lead sound delay with a 3dB boost.
Could be a way to get what you need?

I´m using the old Koko boost (clean boost, no mid boost) in the loop of my Small box. It works great. Used to have a Timeline preset with +2dB boost as well.
