Problems contacting Soldano?

Hello all, what's the best way to go about contacting Soldano? I wanted to ask them about a couple of unique used amps I picked up, and since the amps were not purchased from Soldano directly or through a dealer, I though that calling the factory to ask about them might be kind of rude.

In the past I've always gotten good responses from e-mailing them, but recently everything I've sent just comes back saying "delivery failed...mailbox full" or something along those lines. Is tech@soldano.com no longer a monitored address, or are they really just that backed up with emails? Just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem.

I didn't buy my SLO new, but Mike has always been helpful on the phone and returns my calls. Just call him.

Had the same issue. They probably have a really small mailbox from their website hosting provider or something. Just phone them.

tech@soldano.com was Bill Sundt's email iirc. He was Mike's right hand man for many many years but in no longer there. Mike is pretty easy to catch on the phone 206 781 4636 and still provides awesome personalized service.

It took him just about a week to get back to me using info@soldano.com

Be patient, though. The guy probably gets a couple hundred e-mails a day.

Honestly, it's easier and quicker to call. Leave a msg and they call you back very quickly. I've done this twice, had a ? about an HR 100 I had and Bill called me back the next day..and my first SLO started popping fuses the day after I got it. Mike himself called me back in 20 minutes. GREAT customer service!

Mike prefers the phone. He called me years ago to discuss speakers, and I said I could talk on the phone or email him back. He said he prefers to talk on the phone, but I imagine the man is busy, so you might have to leave a message and wait for a return call.

Just FYI.... Soldano is basically a five (5) man operation including Mike. Still one of the longest running "boutique" amp manufacturers.

Tech@Soldano.com was Bill Sundt's email address. Mike's head tech for decades.. He is no longer there. Maybe Mike does not monitor that email anymore? Mike himself is generally really good to pick up the phone or call back. Keep in mind he is one guy and real busy I am sure at this time. Coolest dude in the biz of making amps and always premier service.
